As of 27 October 2026, five providers sell API access to uncensored or abliterated language models: Venice, Abliteration.ai, OpenRouter, Featherless and us. They differ most on which models they carry and what they keep from your prompts. Every fact below comes from the provider's own pages and is linked in place, and since we're one of the five, weigh our section accordingly. Our uncensored LLM API is built for security work.
For authorized security work where the same key should reach every other model you use, start with us (GLM-5.3 Flash Uncensored, $0.15 / $0.50 per 1M tokens). Venice has the widest menu and a zero-retention tier, and Abliteration.ai has the full-size abliterated GLM-5.3 with a policy gateway and SIEM audit logs. OpenRouter's "Venice: Uncensored" listing saves existing OpenRouter users a vendor, and Featherless is the easy way to try lots of small community abliterations.
How we compared
We read every provider's pages on 27 October 2026 and ran no tests of our own. Prices are base rates per 1M tokens, input / output, before cache discounts, and "retention" means what the provider says it does with prompt and completion text.
We counted a model as uncensored if the provider markets it as uncensored or abliterated, or says its refusals were removed, and left out models described mainly as roleplay or storytelling systems. For background, see what an uncensored LLM is and how abliteration works (people also search for it as "obliterated models").
Uncensored LLM API providers compared
As of 27 October 2026, from each provider's published pages.
| Provider | Uncensored models (examples) | Price per 1M (in / out) | Prompt retention | API shape |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Experiential | GLM-5.3 Flash Uncensored; DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Uncensored | $0.15 / $0.50; $0.30 / $1.20 list, 25% off list during the current promotion | Neither model is zero retention. Prompts and responses are always kept | OpenAI-compatible |

| Featherless | Community abliterations from Hugging Face, e.g. Huihui-Qwen3.8-27B-abliterated | Set per model, e.g. $1.60 / $12.00 | Says prompts and completions are never stored | OpenAI-compatible |
Experiential Labs (us)
We host two uncensored models on our own GPUs. dealignai made both and publishes the weights on Hugging Face.
GLM-5.3 Flash Uncensored (glm-5.3-flash-uncensored) is an abliterated build of Z.ai's GLM-5.3-Flash, a mixture-of-experts model with 320B total and 18B active parameters that came out in late August 2026. The refusal direction was removed from the weights by orthogonalization, with no adapters or runtime code. It has a 1M-token context and 131K max output, handles tools, parallel tool calls, structured output and streaming, and takes reasoning effort low, high or max, with max as the default. It costs $0.15 per 1M input tokens ($0.06 cached) and $0.50 per 1M output.
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Uncensored (deepseek-v4.1-flash-uncensored) is dealignai's uncensored build of the 17 October checkpoint of DeepSeek V4.1 Flash. It has a 1.05M-token context and 393K max output, thinking on by default, and tools, structured output and streaming. List price is $0.30 input ($0.03 cached) and $1.20 output per 1M, and it is 25% off list during the current promotion. Both models take text input only.
Our data controls doc says uncensored models keep every prompt and response even with storage turned off. Experiential Labs keeps a copy after an account is deleted. The billing ledger never holds prompt text, and traffic never trains shared models.
We host these for authorized security work: pen testing systems you have permission to test, defensive research and API reverse engineering. Our terms apply to every request, and why models refuse security work covers why defenders need models that don't refuse.
The same OpenAI-compatible key also reaches every other model in our catalog at 0% markup on routed tokens. An agent can run a stock frontier model for most steps and call the uncensored model only where a refusal blocks authorized work, all on one bill:
from openai import OpenAIimport os client = OpenAI( base_url="https://api.experientiallabs.ai/v1", api_key=os.environ["EXPLABS_API_KEY"],) resp = client.chat.completions.create( model="glm-5.3-flash-uncensored", messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Summarize what this captured request does."}],)print(resp.choices[0].message.content)
We carry only two uncensored models, and neither is zero retention, so if you need DeepSeek V4.1 Flash uncensored on a zero-retention route, Venice's Private tier is where to get it. We also have nothing small for cheap experiments.
Venice
Venice has the broadest uncensored catalog of the five. As of 27 October 2026 its public model list includes:
- Venice Uncensored 1.2 (
venice-uncensored-1-2), $0.20 / $0.90, 128K context, linked to the Dolphin-Mistral-24B-Venice-Edition weights. - DeepSeek V4.1 Flash Uncensored (
deepseek-v4-1-flash-uncensored), $0.33 / $1.32, 1M context, in the Private tier. Venice links dealignai's earlier DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-UNCENSORED-FP8 build, from before the 17 October checkpoint we serve. - Gemma 4 Uncensored at $0.1625 / $0.50 with 256K context, plus a Gemma 4 26B A4B uncensored build in a trusted execution environment at $0.19 / $0.88 with 64K context.
- GLM 4.7 Flash Heretic at $0.07 / $0.40 with 200K context, the cheapest uncensored listing we found anywhere.
- Abliteration.ai's two large models, resold. Abliterated Large Flash is $1.25 / $2.50 here against $1.00 / $2.00 direct, and Abliterated Large V2 is $3.00 / $5.00.
Retention depends on the model's tier. Venice's privacy doc says Private models are processed for inference only and not retained once the request completes, which Venice calls contract-enforced zero data retention. Anonymized models are proxied with your identity stripped, but the upstream provider still sees the prompt, and several uncensored listings are Anonymized, including Qwen 3.6 Plus Uncensored and both Abliteration.ai models. Venice logs operational metadata, IP address included, separately from content.
The API is OpenAI-compatible at https://api.venice.ai/api/v1, per its getting started guide. Venice pitches itself as general-purpose private AI, and its terms bar using the service to distribute malicious code.
Venice is the better pick if you want to compare many uncensored models behind one key, or if you need DeepSeek V4.1 Flash uncensored on a zero-retention route. It serves stock models behind the same key too, so check each model's privacy tier before you send anything sensitive. We compare the two of us in more depth in Venice alternative.
Abliteration.ai
Abliteration.ai sells only abliterated models. TechCrunch profiled it on 3 September 2026, reporting that it hosts an abliterated GLM-5.3 and pitches it for offensive cyber work, red teaming and agent testing.
Its pricing page lists three models, per 1M tokens:
abliterated-model-large-v2: $3.00 / $5.00 ($0.30 cached input), 1M context, text only. The homepage says this is GLM-5.3 (Venice's listing adds that it is fine-tuned), so it's the full model, larger than the Flash we host.abliterated-model-large-flash: $1.00 / $2.00, 1M context, text and image. The model docs don't name a base; Venice's listing says DeepSeek V4.1 Flash.abliterated-model: $1.00 / $3.00, 256K context, text and image.
Monthly plans of $20, $50 and $200 come with matching usage credit, and an Enterprise tier adds SSO and region-specific hosting. The homepage says prompts exist only for the length of the request and that it stores no prompts and logs no outputs. It also streams audit logs to SIEM tools such as Splunk and Datadog and has a policy gateway for setting your own rules. The API takes OpenAI Chat Completions and Anthropic Messages at https://api.abliteration.ai/v1.
Abliteration.ai is the right call if you specifically want the full GLM-5.3 abliterated over an API, or want policy rules, audit streaming and SSO from a dedicated vendor. It is also the most expensive per token of the five. We compare it with us in Abliteration.ai alternative.
OpenRouter
As of 27 October 2026, OpenRouter's public models API lists one model marketed as uncensored for general use, Venice: Uncensored (cognitivecomputations/dolphin-mistral-24b-venice-edition), a fine-tune of Mistral-Small-24B-Instruct-2501 at $0.20 / $0.90 with 128K context. Venice is its only provider, and that endpoint caps output at 8,192 tokens, which makes it a poor fit for long agent runs. We found no dealignai or Abliteration.ai models there, and we didn't count Nous Research's Hermes 4 405B, which Nous describes as steerable with reduced refusals. OpenRouter's ZDR guide says it keeps no prompts unless you opt in to logging, and setting provider.zdr: true limits a request to zero-retention endpoints. It suits teams already on OpenRouter who want a 24B uncensored model without adding a vendor.
Featherless
Featherless serves open-weight models straight from Hugging Face, 53,049 of them on 27 October 2026, with "Abliterated Models" and "Uncensored Models" categories. Huihui-Qwen3.8-27B-abliterated is a typical listing at $1.60 input, $0.15 cached and $12.00 output with a 32K context. Its $25 Chat plan is flat-rate but limited to interactive, human-typed use, so API work goes on the Developer plan, billed per token against monthly credit from $50. Featherless says prompts and completions are never stored on any plan, its FAQ says it doesn't log them, and the API is OpenAI-compatible. It fits researchers comparing many community abliterations of small and mid-size models, though the 32K context on the model we checked rules it out for long-context agent work.
Also checked
- Novita's model catalog has Llama 3 era community fine-tunes with 8K context, such as Hermes 2 Pro Llama 3 8B ($0.14 / $0.14), and no abliterated builds of current open models that we could find.
- OrcaRouter is a router with 200+ models. Its Hugging Face account publishes uncensored Qwen3.8 weights, but we found no uncensored model in its API docs.
What should you check before picking an uncensored LLM API?
Look up the retention tier on the exact model ID you plan to call, because Venice sets it per model and a homepage privacy policy won't always describe the route a particular model runs on.
Read the reasoning trace along with the answer. A reasoning model can comply in its final output while its trace still argues for refusing, and a short refusal test scored on both shows whether the refusals were actually removed. Our uncensored LLM guide explains how to run one.
Match context and output limits to your agent. The 8,192-token output cap on OpenRouter's Venice endpoint and the 32K context on the Featherless model we checked are both tight for long agent runs, while Experiential, Venice and Abliteration.ai all offer 1M-token contexts.
The acceptable use policy of whichever provider you choose applies to uncensored models too. We host ours for authorized security work, and our terms apply to every request.
Live prices, both model IDs and a request you can copy are on our uncensored LLM API page.
Questions answered
What is the best uncensored LLM API?
It depends on the job. For authorized security work where you also want one key for every other model, Experiential's GLM-5.3 Flash Uncensored at $0.15 / $0.50 per 1M tokens. For the widest choice of uncensored models, or DeepSeek V4.1 Flash uncensored on a zero-retention route, Venice. For the full GLM-5.3 abliterated with governance features, Abliteration.ai. Facts as of 27 October 2026.
Which uncensored LLM APIs keep no prompts?
As of 27 October 2026, Venice says its Private models are not retained after the request, Abliteration.ai and Featherless say they store no prompts, and OpenRouter keeps none unless you opt in to logging. Venice's Anonymized models pass prompts to an upstream provider. Neither of Experiential's uncensored models is zero retention, and both keep prompts even with storage turned off.
Are uncensored LLM APIs OpenAI-compatible?
All five providers in this roundup document an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, and Abliteration.ai also accepts the Anthropic Messages format. Switching between them is mostly a change of base URL, key and model ID.
What is the cheapest uncensored LLM API?
The lowest per-token price we found was Venice's GLM 4.7 Flash Heretic at $0.07 input and $0.40 output per 1M tokens. Among frontier-scale models, GLM-5.3 Flash Uncensored on Experiential costs $0.15 / $0.50.
Is an abliterated model the same as an uncensored model?
Abliterated is one kind of uncensored. Abliteration removes the refusal direction from a model's weights, while other uncensored models, such as the Dolphin family, are fine-tuned on data with refusals filtered out.
Can I use an uncensored LLM API for penetration testing?
Yes, on systems you own or have permission to test. Experiential hosts its uncensored models for that kind of authorized work, along with defensive research and API reverse engineering, and its terms apply to every request.
